January 15, 2025From Feedback to Action: How We’re Shaping 2025 Together
As we begin 2025, I find myself reflecting on the past year and the exciting road ahead. At its core, this reflection centers on you—our WebsterRogers team. Over the past year, your voices have been heard, your feedback has been embraced, and your commitment to Webster Rogers continues to be deeply valued.
Creating Efficiencies
Last year, one of the consistent themes we heard was the need to reduce charge hour goals. I’m proud to say we took that feedback to heart. But we also knew it wasn’t just about reducing the numbers; it was about creating a sustainable way to work smarter, not harder while ensuring quality work and experience for our clients. That’s why we introduced Transformity, a tool designed to help us streamline workflows, manage pipelines, and plan effectively—not to add work but to build efficiency into our everyday work.
The adoption of Transformity represents a shared commitment, from both leadership and every team member. By optimizing the efficiencies created by Transformity, we can focus on what matters most—delivering exceptional client service while preserving balance in our lives. As we continue our adoption of this tool, we will be able to further enhance our work hard and play hard culture. When we’re focused, we give it our all, which is how we achieve shared benefits like closing the office the entire week of July 4th.
Shared Accountability
But tools alone won’t make us successful. It requires all of us to work together within a framework of shared accountability. For the coming year, I encourage each of us to adopt a proactive mindset. Think about how you can support workflows, set daily and weekly goals, track your progress, and manage your days with intention. When we work as a team—each person doing their part—client work moves forward seamlessly, and the entire firm thrives.
Additionally, we must continue to rely on data. What is it telling us? How can it enhance our delivery? How can it help us serve our clients and support each other better? These questions drive meaningful improvement and allow us to meet challenges head-on.
Key Areas of Focus
On a personal level, I’d like to share with you the three key areas I plan to focus on in the coming year:
1. Growth – Growth is not just about the firm; it’s about creating opportunities—for you, our clients, and the communities we serve. With growth comes new chances to succeed, challenges to tackle, and greater resources to make an impact.
2. Leverage – Growth becomes achievable when we leverage our tools, time, and each other. By working toward common goals, we all win. Rewards may look different for each of us—financial success, career advancement, or the ability to spend more time with family—but the result is the same: a stronger, more vibrant team serving clients and our communities in extraordinary ways.
3. Boundaries – I want to work hard when I’m working so I can fully enjoy my personal life when I’m not. I hope each of you will do the same.
Our future is bright, and I couldn’t be more excited for what’s ahead in 2025. Together, we can achieve great things.
