WebsterRogers Expands Footprint to South Carolina’s Upstate, Appoints Laurence Fritz to Lead Market

Spartanburg, S.C., Feb. 12, 2024 – WebsterRogers LLP, a leading South Carolina-based accounting and consulting firm, is expanding its footprint to the Upstate region with the opening of a new office in Spartanburg. This strategic move strengthens the firm’s ability to serve its growing client base in key industries, including healthcare, construction, real estate, manufacturing, government, not-for-profit, and tourism hospitality. Laurence Fritz, CPA, will lead the Upstate market, bringing extensive industry expertise and leadership to the new office.

Fritz is the leader of WebsterRogers’ Assurance Services Group. With over 14 years of public accounting experience, he has worked across various industries, including manufacturing, real estate, construction, logistics, hospitality, retail, technology, and forestry. Prior to joining WebsterRogers, Fritz was a Director in PwC’s U.S. Assurance Practice and spent two years in PwC Ireland’s International & Domestic Business Group. His expertise includes revenue recognition, inventory obsolescence, real estate valuation, debt refinancing, 144A transactions, and other capital-raising activities. Locally, Fritz is actively involved in the Upstate community, serving as a board member for Spartanburg Area Conservancy (SPACE), The Advent Foundation, The Cleveland Opportunity Foundation, and as an Audit Committee Member for The Mary Black Foundation.
