March 20, 2020COVID-19 Firm Response
March 18, 2020 – Announcement regarding COVID-19.
Dear valued clients and friends of WebsterRogers,
The COVID-19 situation has evolved rapidly over the last several days with widespread school closures and new federal, state and local guidance.
Our firm is devoted to the health and safety of our people, clients, and communities we serve. With safety as our primary concern, WebsterRogers is taking all necessary precautions with each decision oriented around our people and our clients. As a result, effective March 18, 2020, WR is moving to a mandatory remote working environment for employees until further notice. We believe this is a necessary step to protect your health and safety, as well as the health and safety of our employees, their families and our communities.
What does this mean for you?
We remain committed to providing exceptional service to you as we are working remotely.
We have been preparing to work remotely and are rapidly shifting to complete remote operations without disruption to allow our clients to work with us as you normally would each day, with the exception of being in a virtual environment. We have asked employees to limit their time at client sites to the minimum critical activities necessary to complete our work. If our teams are scheduled to be at your site, they will reach out to discuss how we will work with you going forward.
A few items to note:
- The methods of reaching us remain the same – our email addresses and phone numbers have not changed.
- We encourage the use of electronic mediums to share information and data virtually. Email, Client Portals and Citrix Sharefile are all available.
- We expect to have at least one person in each of our offices to receive packages and mail, as well as to facilitate work between our people and our clients.
- We will limit in-person meetings. Instead of in-person meetings, we encourage the use of phone and video-conferencing technology.
- We remain client focused. If we need to adjust how an engagement is approached due to your changing requirements or ours, we’re committed to being flexible and collaborative.
As the situation is quickly evolving, we do not know how long this policy will be in effect, but we are prepared to serve clients remotely for an extended period. We will continue to tailor our approach to meet your specific needs, and we will adjust and communicate with you as circumstances change. We plan to provide updates on our website in News Updates (link https://websterrogers.com/category/newsupdates/). If you have any questions or concerns about your engagement, please reach out to your WR contacts.
The foundation of our firm’s success are the clients we serve, and we truly appreciate the opportunity to serve you. We are committed to proactively helping you as a trusted advisor and, as we all work together through these challenging times, are confident we will overcome and grow stronger.
Sincerely,
Amy F. Urquhart
