Zaiken will be focused on building and elevating the firm’s consulting practice at a critical time for businesses navigating changes to tax regulations and global trade policies. He has unique capabilities in creating tax efficiency in both supply and value chains.

With a career at top firms and multinational corporations, David brings unparalleled insight and technical knowledge to the firm.

Based in the firm’s Charleston, S.C. office, David is a senior member of WebsterRogers’ strategic tax team. Over his career, he has led core tax teams across the United States and held leadership positions in the National Tax Offices of Grant Thornton and Arthur Andersen. Additionally, he served as Associate Vice President of International Tax Planning at Weatherford, a global oil field services company.
David’s expertise spans various industries, including manufacturing, high-tech, life sciences, energy, entertainment, pharmaceuticals, and intellectual property. He has also been instrumental in addressing corporate tax controversies and transfer pricing matters, helping businesses adapt to U.S. tax reform and global initiatives such as the Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS) initiative.
As a core international tax committee member of the United States Council of International Business, David contributes to critical discussions on OECD and other international tax matters. His extensive industry experience and technical leadership will be invaluable to WebsterRogers’ clients as they navigate the evolving global tax environment.
